UKFR Roofing & Insulation Specialists feel the force with Porsche
UKFR Roofing & Insulation is an online building supplies company, specialising in flat roofing and insulation. Their website boasts a wide range of construction materials suitable for both professionals and DIY installers to enhance any home or property into a higher value building. With a 4.9 star (out of 5) rating on Feefo, it’s evident that UKFR’s customer base is highly satisfied with the service they provide. However, who is behind the success of UKFR and what brings them into the world of motorsport?
UKFR (UK Flat Roofing) is a family built business based in the North West of England. The hugely successful company was founded by father Ian Storey and his son Mike, with daughter Abby taking up the role of Business Growth and Operations Manager. Family values are the groundwork of everything they do, and why family team Lydia Walmsley Racing caught their eye back in 2024. The power of social media brought the two teams together and they partnered throughout Walmsley’s final year in the Mini Challenge JCW Championship.
However, 2025 brings the duo to another family unit in the form of Graves Motorsport, competing in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB Clubsport championship.
Lydia explains how thrilled she is to partner with the business:
“I am so proud to carry the branding of UKFR on my race car again for a second season running. It has been lovely getting to know the team over the last year or so and it is amazing to have another family unit behind me. They were able to relate to our story in a similar way in which we relate to theirs, and I think that is why we are the perfect fit together in this championship!”.

Mike Storey, Founder & Technical manager of UKFR, comments on the renewed partnership for 2025:
“We are very proud to be supporting Lydia again in 2025 and into her first year in Porsche. As Motorsport enthusiasts we have all been going to Oulton Park for years for the BTCC and TOCA race weekends. Lydia impressed us the year before in 2023 and after learning more about her family run team it fit perfectly into our own values and passion for motorsport. We are all thrilled to continue the partnership this year.”
UKFR Roofing & Insulation have chosen to place their branding on the rear end of Lydia’s Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 machine, so be sure to watch out for that at a circuit near you. The season kicks off at Donington Park on the 26th and 27th April before heading to Brands Hatch in Kent followed by UKFR’s local circuit, Oulton Park, for round 3. Tune in to ITV4 on Sunday race days to catch all the action live.
