VertomCory confirmed to hit the track with Lydia Walmsley following an extended partnership into 2024

VertomCory are proud to announce their renewed partnership with Lydia Walmsley for the 2024 campaign in the Mini Challenge JCW Championship.

VertomCory, a global shipping & maritime services company headquartered in Walmsley’s hometown; Ipswich, first stepped onto the motorsport scene last year (2023) following their success in 2021 when Vertom and Cory Brothers joined forces.

With plenty of off track enthusiasm from the team at VertomCory/Cory Brothers and lots of trackside support, 2023 was one of Walmsley’s most successful seasons within the championship. This year however, the ongoing partnership is aiming to achieve more in line with the business ambitions.

VertomCory don’t just support Walmsley, but also participate in various fundraising activities for the local community. A notable event last year was the Ipswich Dragon Boat race in aid of Brave Futures, a specialist support service for Child Abuse. Cory Brothers were the title sponsor of the event and Walmsley displayed her JCW race car at the Ipswich Waterfront alongside the race. Cory Brothers will again be the main sponsor of the 2024 Ipswich Dragon Boat Race.

Whilst supporting many charities, sports groups and local initiatives, VertomCory also ‘do their bit’ for the environment such as their annual riverside litter pick last year, which Walmsley was also actively involved in.

Lydia Walmsley is excited about the continued partnership: “I cannot wait to begin the season again with VertomCory. The team are so supportive and you couldn’t meet a nicer group of people. To know that with every lap you have that kind of support is incredible and I feel so lucky and fortunate that they enjoyed last year so much to sign for another season!”

The season begins on the 27th and 28th April at Donington Park in Derby – make sure to tune in to ITV4 on the Sunday to see the VertomCory & Cory Brothers branding adorned across the new livery for 2024!
