Great Oaktree Land Services join forces with Lydia Walmsley Racing for 2024 Mini Challenge campaign
Great Oaktree Land Services, a family business established in 2017, have signed a deal to support Suffolk’s Lydia Walmsley in the national Mini Challenge JCW 2024 Championship. Great Oaktree Land Services’ Company director Ainsley Bird first stepped into the world of all things tree surgery and ground maintenance fresh out of University and the business has grown rapidly ever since.
Aside from a passion with his very successful business, Ainsley has a keen interest in motorsport and all things with engines. Having been a regular visitor to the British Touring Car Championship race weekends, Ainsley is certainly no stranger to the Mini Challenge paddock and is excited to see his branding on the #82 JCW live on ITV/ITV4 this year.
There is a lovely synergy between Walmsley’s family run team and their new partner. The Great Oaktree Land Services website states: ‘We are independently owned and operated, bigger is not necessarily better’ which correlates with the family run team of Lydia Walmsley Racing, who were the top placed privateer last season.
Lydia, who is excited about the new partnership says: “It has been fantastic meeting Ainsley, who you can clearly tell is an absolute petrol head so I’m sure this is right up his street! I am thrilled to have another new partner on board with me this season, and I’m so thankful for Ainsley’s support in what is hopefully going to be our best season’s racing yet!”
